Devastating floods and landslides from torrential rain
Death Toll Rises: At least 18 people have died and more are missing after days of torrential rain triggered flash floods and landslides across South Korea, particularly affecting Sancheong County and Gapyeong.
Mass Evacuations: Over 14,000 residents were forced to flee their homes with extensive damage reported to houses, infrastructure, and farmland.
Continued Risk: The meteorological agency has removed heavy rain warnings but issued heatwave alerts for southern regions.
Government Response: Thousands of soldiers have been deployed to assist with recovery and rescue efforts.

Stocks Surpass Real Estate as Korea’s Top Investment Choice.
For the first time in nearly two decades, Koreans now favor stocks over real estate as their preferred method for building wealth, according to a Gallup Korea survey of 1,000 adults.
31% chose stocks as the best investment
23% picked property (land, housing, etc.)
20% opted for savings/deposits
The rest were split among crypto, funds, gold, foreign currencies, and bonds
This marks the first shift since 2006, as optimism rises around President Lee Jae-myung’s market-friendly reforms. Since taking office, Lee has pushed for stronger investor protections and tackled the “Korea discount” plaguing the local stock market.
Milestones fueling the stock surge:
✅ KOSPI breaks 3,000 for the first time in 3 years
✅ Market cap tops 3,000 trillion won ($2.15T)
✅ Mobile trading access & AI boom drive retail interest
✅ Lee's 600M won mortgage cap cools real estate enthusiasm
As Korea’s investment landscape evolves, the stock market is gaining momentum like never before.

Seoul & Busan Travel Itinerary
Two Cities. One Soul. A Journey You’ll Never Forget.
Some trips are checklists.
But this one?
This is a story.
A story written in steaming street food stalls and sunrises over the ocean. In palace gates and subway stations. In laughter, in quiet, and in every small moment where you feel something shift inside.
From the pulsing heart of Seoul to the gentle waves of Busan, this trip isn’t just about where you’ll go.
It’s about who you’ll become as you go. [link]
